March Highlights

The snow can’t stop God’s Word! In March, Calvary students enjoyed a PAUSE youth retreat and people battled through a blizzard to savor teaching & worship with Pastor Rod Trusty.

Our 2023 Holy Spirit Conference focused on topics like Spirit-led worship, unity that manifests God’s glory, and building a church culture that draws people to Christ. Check out the archived videos and messages at calvaryfargo.com/messages.

Breakfast menu includes sweet rolls, sausage, fruit, coffee, and juice.

No kids/youth/adult growth groups on Resurrection Sunday.

“Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:2-3, NKJV)

Where is God taking our church in this new season?

Join us for 10:30 AM Vision Sunday worship and a corresponding Q/A Town Hall (directly following the service). Topics include:

  • Christ’s faithfulness to our spiritual family over the last two years

  • Mission/beliefs/core values

  • Congregational unity

  • Next steps after the Church Health survey

  • What's NEW and NEXT for Calvary

NO LIVESTREAM will be offered for the Town Hall portion of the morning.

The power of God is upon our church. Can you feel it? God is up to something.

We as leaders are called to discern how God wants us to pivot. Everyone is welcome to participate in this one-day leadership training based on the principles in Pastor Rod Trusty's sermons on Moses' style of leadership (Church on the Move, Part 1 and Part 2).

Please listen to the messages and come ready to discuss. Register HERE or contact Pastor Henry with questions!

SPRING IS HERE . . . right?! Sue Henderson has been faithfully caring for our landscape for many years and she is ready to pass the torch to others. THANK YOU, SUE, for the time you’ve invested to make Calvary so beautiful and welcoming!

A TEAM APPROACH: Instead of spending loads of cash for professional weeding and watering, we’re asking YOU to grab some friends and volunteer to help the trustees care for our grounds – signing up for ONE WEEK of landscaping this summer. This includes watering potted plants 2x/week and one hour of weeding/pruning as needed.

CAN I HELP if I don’t have a green thumb? YES! Before your watering week, we’ll send you a sheet identifying plants, weeds, tools, and current projects. We’ll provide a landscaping tote — with watering key, gloves, and gardening tools — and advice (during weekday office hours) if you have questions.

OUR FAMILY . . . OUR FACILITY . . . OUR OPPORTUNITY to serve. Sign up HERE or contact the office to reserve your spot!

Baptism is a public declaration of faith as you identify with the family of believers and celebrate your new identity in Jesus. Interested in being baptized at Calvary this April? Sign up at the Info Center or submit an inquiry form HERE.

Want to experience marriage the way God intended? Find out why spouses react negatively to each other and how they can deal with conflict quickly, easily, and biblically. Sundays at 9:00 AM, Apr.16-May 21, Rob & Shelli Staiger facilitating. Sign up at the Info Center or in the Calvary app.

A LEGACY OF LOVE. The recipes live on! New member Anna Erickson gave Calvary cookbooks to her friends for Christmas. Now the girls “cooking through” the pages, sharing meals and memories as each friend brings a dish to share. SO GOOD!

Join Millie and West Virginia Jones as they seek the Timeless Treasure of Tsidkenu. With the help of Calvary Fargo Kids they will find the answers to the eternal questions like who is God and what is our future? One day only!! (May 21, 2023).

Movie-themed food served between worship and the 12:30 viewing.
